The process is simple and safe, extracting regenerative adult stem cells from the umbilical cord on foaling day to be stored for future medical and therapeutic use. Stem cell research has turned into a modern-day phenomenon and has been attributed to the recovery of many horses with career threatening injuries. Collecting and storing stem cells is a practice that allows for potential healing of future injuries to soft tissue, such as tendons, ligaments and joints.
